In our Pilates Mat Teacher Training you’ll learn the fundamentals of teaching a mat Pilates class. Pilates Mat is based on the classical method of Joseph Pilates taught with a contemporary approach. In this training you will learn how to execute the classical mat curriculum and understand each exercise. You will learn about the history of Pilates, the principles, and the contemporary Pilates practice. You will feel confident in performing client assessments and know how and when to use props. You will also learn basic prenatal Pilates precautions, anatomy, and the Pilates Method Alliance Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice.
